A small plane or helicopter has crashed into a high-rise apartment building in New York City. Two different buildings are on fire at present.

Update 3:20 PM: The FAA has issued a statement that the crash involved a fixed-wing aircraft. Witnesses have stated that it was a small plane that was approaching the city and lost altitude and banked ( Read more... )
